Thread: Do I need a license to apply make-up (freelance style) in Texas?

Can a person without a cosmetology or facial license apply make-up to people for money without a license from the state?

it depends if you are working for a business. if your friend is going to pay you to do her makeup, thats fine. but if you were say, going to work at a salon, then you would need a cosmetology degree. i hope i could help!
