Thread: Could I get away with white converse low style, at a smart casual work dinner?

Im in the UK.
We can wear jeans for this but I look stupid in shoes and jeans.
I reali wanna wear my all stars!!
Im only 19,
feel like rebelling abit, would you advise this??

work dinner = no running shoes period.

No offense, but bosses and co-workers don't care about your individuality. If you look like a slobby little punk during a business function in a public place then it reflects poorly on the company.

If it's smart casual it would probably be ok, since you're wearing jeans. How clean are they? I wouldn't wear them if they're dirty and falling apart.
