Thread: Can I style my hair only with a leave-in conditioner?

I have a short wavy hair that is quite dry and a little bit frizzy. Is it ok if I just style it only with a leave-in conditioner without the wax that I always used? I'm just looking for an alternative to hair wax but don't feel like spending too much on too many hair products. Thanks for replying.

this is going to sound crazy but my husband uses Vaseline in his hair...he has floppy curly hair, and the vaseline tames it, makes it shiny, and soft. just don't use too much or it will look greasy. and it's a PITA to clean out of the tub
