Sprint simcard in Boost/Virgin mobile phone?

My dad has sprint and his phone is messed up because it got wet, and he doesnt want to pay to replace it or buy a completely new one. I was wondering if his simcard would work in a Boost Mobile phone or a Virgin Mobile phone?
