...4.5.0.131 ? What Does All This Mean? Sprint has informed me that they are somehow reconfiguring their stock of 8330 Curve phones which now appear available for order. I had problems after installing 4.5.0.131 (from the 4.3.0.127 version) directly from the Sprint website such as slow processing, weak signals resulting in dropped in dropped calls, no HTML in emails, and no true MMS (it was a link instead). In addition to these issues, the phone just became very unreliable. Upon contacting Sprint, they mentioned that the 8330's chipsets were being "refreshed and updated." I'm not exactly sure what that means, or whether the new 8330 phones are being shipped with 4.5 installed. Can anyone shed any more light on this issue and explain more about the chipset and its relationship to the operating system? Sprint was not able to or would not explain any more than than the above. I am also considering going with Verizon or getting the Bold with AT&T. Thanks for any help.
