I keep reading articles on the internet telling you to do two reps of four floors. Now, there is only one flight of stairs at home with 14 steps. So does that mean I run up and down 8 times, or what?
I have done alot of training for triathlons in various settings and this really depends on the type of steps and how tall you are. I've run at dams with long steps that require you to do each step at once. Also how many steps are in a floor? See my point? You should give a try and see where you work hardest and what's comfortable. Check out a high school sports stadium and places like that.
