Odell Beckham Jr. highlights this week’s look around the league (Getty Images) While the Giants/Cowboys game wasn’t exactly high scoring, Odell Beckham Jr. secured all four (only four?) of his targets, including this 61-yarder to the house.*Beckham has the most 60+ yard touchdown catches during the first three seasons of his career since the merger with nine, and it’s crazy he seems to be having a disappointing campaign while he’s on pace for 1,365 yards and 11 touchdowns…Sunday night marked the first time in Ezekiel Elliott’s career he ever lost a game on the road, and we are talking college and high school here, and only the Giants have beaten the Cowboys this season (and this time was without Jason Pierre-Paul).
Ben Roethlisberger had a 0:3 TD:INT ratio with a 37.8 Passer Rating and continues to struggle on the road, yet the Steelers still won 27-20, as Le’Veon Bell is a fantasy god, totaling 298 yards and three scores. He’s had the second-most targets on the team since his return…I still like Ladarius Green as a TE1 down the stretch…In a switch, Mike Gillislee had more yards than LeSean McCoy (in 10 fewer carries) yet the latter was the one to score…Big Ben entered with a 32:0 TD:INT ratio in the red zone since 2014 before getting picked off early there Sunday.
Robert Griffin got 3.7 YPA as the Browns lost a game in which they probably had their best chance of winning over the rest of the season. It was the sixth game in which they had to change starting quarterbacks this year…Terrelle Pryor with one catch for three yards was a massive disappointment, while Jeremy Hill lived up to expectations getting 142 yards from scrimmage with a score. Hill leads the NFL in touchdown runs…Corey Coleman got 2.37 yards per target, which isn’t very good…Over the last four games, Mike Nugent is 4-of-9 on extra point attempts.
I keep hearing Matthew Stafford talked about as an MVP candidate, but he got 6.4 YPA at home as the biggest favorites this week while throwing two picks, but they are 9-4, and there’s a good chance I’m just bitter because I switched my survivor pick from Detroit to Indy late in the week…Jordan Howard got 6.6 YPC and 24 yards on two catches yet was given just 15 touches.

Trevor Siemian is clearly playing hurt (and it’s still unclear how good he is), while the Titans won with Marcus Mariota completing six passes. And the biggest incompletion of the day was when DeMarco Murray missed an open Mariota for a would be touchdown…Justin Forsett’s first carry of his career for the Broncos resulted in his first fumble lost since 2009 (950 touches), and yet he still finished with twice as many rushing attempts as Devontae Booker…The Broncos didn’t score a point until there were less than 10 minutes left in this game and had 18 yards rushing.
This local news interview with a “Christmas Tree Expert” is a must watch.
Donte Moncrief had zero catches on four targets, as the Colts ended my survivor season in a very frustrating way since I switched to them from the Lions late this week (making it worse, it was a pot odds play, and then only one other person in the pool took Detroit)…The Texans have a good defense (even without J.J. Watt), but Brock Osweiler remains a huge problem as far as upside for the Texans moving forward…DeAndre Hopkins now has 11 straight games with fewer than 75 yards.
Brutal loss for Miami with Ryan Tannehill’s ACL injury. He has his flaws, but this team was quietly becoming interesting…There were five turnovers in the first quarter of this game (the most in any this season)…Carson Palmer’s demise continues to depress, but this play by J.J. Nelson was nice.

Zach Ertz has now averaged 11.3 targets over the past four games and is emerging as an elite TE1 option…This 80-yard touchdown by DeSean Jackson against his old team was pretty nice.
Tough loss for Melvin Gordon owners, and Kenneth Farrow didn’t look like a great replacement who could be trusted in an important Week 15…Dontrelle Inman has scored in three straight games and has to be treated as a top-25 wideout from here on out…Ted Ginn had scored in three straight games as well, but he was held to 21 yards on four targets Sunday, while Kelvin Benjamin had just one catch for 11 yards in a game the Panthers won handily.
Despite the tough matchup on paper, I liked Allen Robinson as a cheap DFS contrarian play. That didn’t work out, as his bust season continued with a one catch effort even with no Julius Thomas or Allen Hurns…The most field goals in a game ever are nine, and this one had seven with 8:29 left in the third quarter (but none after).

The Seahawks are attempting to finish with the defense that’s allowed the fewest ppg for the fifth straight season, but they ceded 38 points Sunday (during their first game played in the snow since 2011)…Russell Wilson, who always plays better in the second half of seasons and seemed healthy recently, threw five interceptions and got 6.2 YPA in one of the more surprising games of the year….Jordy Nelson is on pace to score a career-high 15 touchdowns.
Song of the Week: Disturbed – “The Sound Of Silence”

Three of Matt Ryan’s 18 completions went for scores, as the Falcons entered the fourth quarter on the road against a solid defense up 42-0, and that was with Devonta Freeman rushing for six yards on the day and Julio Jones not playing…Here was a nice deep score to Taylor Gabriel.
This week’s highest over/under game produced quarterbacks who totaled a 0:3 TD:INT ratio, while Mark Ingram got 2.0 YPC and Doug Martin got 2.9 (on 23 rushing attempts). The second half totaled six points…The Bucs have now won five straight…Drew Brees has six interceptions and zero touchdowns over his last two games.

The 49ers continue to perform badly in the second half, as they were outscored 20-0 after halftime while leading 17-3 beforehand…Brandon Marshall managed 33 receiving yards and simply can’t be trusted during the fantasy playoffs…There were 436 combined rushing yards in this game and 332 passing. That’s an anomaly…Obviously Bilal Powell is a huge beneficiary of Matt Forte’s injury.
