After the New York Mets got the final out of the ninth inning of NLDS Game 5 and after the players spilled onto the field for a celebration mob, manager Terry Collins walked around Dodger Stadium giving high-fives and hugs to all the Mets fans in attendance.

They were outnumbered by the Dodger blue, of course, but the Mets fans were elated — even there, as visitors in L.A. There was one particular group of Mets fans that was happier than the rest. One guy was wearing a wig so he could have hair like Thor (or Noah Syndergaard, whatever). One guy had a Mets jersey on and hugged Collins emphatically.*
And one dude, grabbed Collins, said "I love you" and kissed him on the cheek. Here's the scene:Your browser does not support iframes.
There were some times that Mets fans didn't exactly what to kiss Collins. Not that long ago either. They would have preferred to kick him to the curb. But hey, that's what winning will do for you.
