The Stanford band prides itself on irking opposing fans and it did its job Friday during the Rose Bowl when its halftime show caused boos from Iowa fans to rain down from the Rose Bowl stands.
The #Stanford band #FarmersOnly jab at Iowa is by far the most entertaining moment of the #RoseBowl thus far pic.twitter.com/DAamxeG36S

Stanford performed a rendition of the theme song from the online dating site farmersonly.com, morphed into a farmer, a corn maze and had two band members in a cow suit drunkenly wander through the corn maze while the band played.
Unfortunately, video of the band's performance was scarce since ESPN's broadcast cut away once it realized what was going on (it showed Iowa's full performance).
Stanford's band director was, of course, unapologetic.
Glad you liked our corn show, Iowa! Couldn't tell, was that booing or mooing? #imsosorry #1dayfromretirement

It was exactly what we’ve all come to expect from the Stanford band. And really, it’s hard to fathom Iowa fans being more offended by the halftime show than the play of its team, which lost 45-16.
