Czech snowboarder Sarka Pancochova took such a nasty spill at the inaugural women’s snowboarding slopestyle finals Sunday that her helmet broke in half. After taking a jump, Pancochova missed the landing and ended up on her back, then tumbled to the bottom of the descent. She lay motionless for several moments before medics tended to her and she was able to ultimately finish the run.

Pancochova appeared disoriented when she reached the bottom of the slope, but it is unclear whether she suffered an injury. The 23-year-old was in the lead after her first run but ended up placing fifth with a score of 86.25. Team USA’s Jamie Anderson won gold in the event with a score of 95.25.
