No. 1 Star: Andrew Hammond, Ottawa Senators
The Senators netminder made 25 stops and earned his first NHL shutout during a 3-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks. Erik Condra, Mika Zibanejad and Kyle Turris all scored as Hammond recorded his third straight win.*
No. 2 Star: Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins
Malkin helped set up three of Pittsburgh’s four goals as the Penguins edged the Washington Capitals 4-3. Pittsburgh won its third straight as Malkin and Sidney Crosby recorded their first points of the season against their Metropolitan Division rivals.*
No. 3 Star: Sean Monahan, Calgary Flames
Monahan re-directed a Mark Giordano pass 35 seconds into the third period to snap a 1-1 tie and help give the Flames a 3-1 win over the New Jersey Devils. He would later help set up T.J. Brodie’s shorthanded empty-net tally as Calgary won its third in a row.

Honorable Mention: Mike Cammalleri scored his fifth goal in four games for the Devils:

Giordano set career highs in assists and points in a season with his helper on the winning goal … The Flames’ PK killed off three opportunities and hasn’t allowed a power play goal in 13 games … Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves for his second straight win … Alex Ovechkin scored his league-leading 39th of the season in the loss … Pens-Caps continued their love affair from a week ago with some rough stuff in the opening period.
