No. 1 Star: Ryan McDonagh, New York Rangers
The Rangers defenseman finished off a New York comeback with the winner in overtime after falling behind 2-0 early. After a late third period goal from Dan Girardi tied the game 3-3, McDonagh pounced a puck just outside the Phoenix crease and completed a three-point night to help give the Rangers their fourth straight win:
No. 2 Star: Erik Karlsson, Ottawa Senators
Three points from Karlsson and a goals in regulation and the shootout from Jason Spezza helped the Senators down the Tampa Bay Lighting 4-3. After scoring the opening goal, Karlsson set up both of Ottawa's second period goals in a 44-second span to take a 3-1 lead. The goal was his 20th of the season, a career high. Robin Lehner made 35 saves.
No. 3 Star: Karri Ramo, Calgary Flames
Ramo made 33 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped all three shootout attempts he faced as the Flames got by the San Jose Sharks 2-1. Mike Cammalleri scored the only goal in the shootout. Ramo has now won four of his last six starts.
Honorable mention: Carl Hagelin, Dan Girardi and Benoit Pouliot each had two points in the Rangers' win ... Dwight King's goal with 9:24 left in the third period broke a 2-2 tie and helped give the Los Angeles Kings a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Jonathan Quick made 30 saves and Jeff Carter scored in his return to Philly. LA has now won 11 of their last 14 games ... Some tough luck for Vincent Lecavalier as one his shots hit three posts:
Alex Galchenyuk's goal in the fourth round of the shootout was the difference as the Montreal Canadiens edged the Boston Bruins 2-1. Peter Budaj made 28 stops as the Canadiens snapped Boston's 12-game winning streak. There was plenty of physicality to go around between the two rivals:

Steven Stamkos played in his 400th NHL game and scored a memorable goal ... Power play goals from Ray Whitney and Tyler Seguin were just enough as the Dallas Stars slipped by the Winnipeg Jets 2-1. Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves ... Despite the loss, the charity point meant the Sharks clinched a playoff spot for the 10th straight season.
Did you know? "The Bruins fell one game short of their longest winning streak since 1970-71 and two shy of the club record set in 1929-30." (AP)
Dishonorable mention: Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith left the game in the third period after Derick Brassard fell on his leg. Head coach Dave Tippett said he would be re-evaluated and not travel with the team to Pittsburgh ... After winning seven straight shootouts, the Sharks have dropped their last two.
