Over the past summer, Notre Dame wide receiver TJ Jones pursued a lifelong interest by earning his diving certification and traveling to SeaWorld in Orlando to dive with sharks. Jones, the Fighting Irish’s leading receiver and a senior captain, is very interested in a career involving aquatic life after his playing days are over.
To show support for Jones and his Notre Dame teammates, some staff members at SeaWorld made a video with two divers under water holding up “Go TJ #7” and “Go Irish” signs.
Jones showed appreciation in a tweet, saying that he hopes “to be in their place one day.”
Big thanks to @SeaWorld for showing myself and the Irish love. Hope to be in their place one day! #myrolemodels - http://t.co/OKJTtEnGrbNotre Dame documented Jones' experience with SeaWorld with the video below.
