Ever pretend to be someone you're not? Ever get confused for a famous person?
Well, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandon Coleman took that to a new level: He signed autographs while wearing a Colston jersey and Colston's helmet.
This occured Sunday after Saints practice in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. Apparently a few duped fans were a little miffed once they caught on.

Coleman posted an apology on Twitter. But check it out: Was he signing his name?
I want to apologize to the fans that were at Sunday's practice for the prank I pulled after practice pretending to b Colston signing my name

It was just a joke and I meant no harm To the fans that got upset I'm sorry lol

The "lol" part, though, might as well have undercut the previous 50 words he wrote. Funny how that works.

Perhaps Coleman — who has been having an outstanding training camp, per media reports — was taking the media comparisons of the two receivers a bit too literally.
