The Green Bay Packers received bad news in waves in Seattle on Thursday.
In addition to getting humbled on the field by the Seahawks in a 36-16 opening-season loss, the Packers suffered a rash of injuries — and they have a concerning one with running back Eddie Lacy. According to NBC's Michele Tafoya (and reported by others later), Lacy was being tested during the game for a concussion.
After the game, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Lacy had a concussion.
Lacy left the game early in the fourth quarter after being tackled for a three-yard gain by the Seahawks' Bobby Wagner. Lacy would finish the game with 12 carries for 34 yards and three receptions for 11 yards.

Last season as a rookie, Lacy suffered a concussion early in the Packers' Week 2 win over the Washington Redskins. He then sat out the following week against the Cincinatti Bengals. So that means Lacy has had two in less than a calendar year.

James Starks rotated in with Lacy on Thursday and was the more effective of the two. The Packers' next game is next Sunday at home against the New York Jets. Lacy would need to pass the concussion protocol prior to being able to play again.
The Packers also watched right tackle Bryan Bulaga, who missed the entire 2013 season and waited more than 600 days to play in this game, re-injure his left knee and leave the game. His replacement, Derrick Sherrod, was beat repeatedly.*
