No. 1 Star: Carey Price, Montreal Canadiens
The star Habs stopper turned aside all 25 Detroit shots on goal in a 2-0 win over the Red Wings. The win pushed Montreal eight points clear of Detroit in the Atlantic Division standings and tops in the Eastern Conference. He was the first Montreal goalie to post a shutout in Detroit since Michel Larocque on March 27, 1977.


No. 2 Star: Mark Giordano, Calgary Flames
His three assists helped propel the Flames to a 4-3 comeback win over Boston. The Flames moved to 7-3-0 in their last 10 and are three points clear of being out of the playoffs. Giordano played 27:52 in the contest.


No. 3. Star: Drew Doughty, Los Angeles Kings
The Kings defenseman picked up an assist and played 30:29 in a win over Tampa Bay. The win for the Kings was their fifth in a row. It was the third time in Doughty’s last four games he played over 30 minutes.
