It was a memorable night for Marleau as he recorded his third career NHL hat trick and first four-goal game as the Sharks downed the Colorado Avalanche 5-2. According to the NHL, Marleau is the 12th player in league history to score four times in one game and first since Mario Lemieux did it in Jan. 1997.

No. 2 Stars: Frederik Andersen / Nazem Kadri, Toronto Maple Leafs
Andersen did his work in goal stopping all 26 shots he faced and Kadri popped in two goals to reach 20 on the season and 100 for his career as the Leafs blanked the Calgary Flames 4-0. Mitch Marner added a goal and an assist to take the lead in the rookie scoring race with 39 points.

No. 3 Star: Dmitry Orlov, Washington Capitals
The Capitals routed the Carolina Hurricanes 6-1 and Orlov doubled his goal output on the year with a pair. Andre Burakovsky set up three goals and Braden Holtby made 25 saves for his 23rd win of the season. The Capitals now have points in their last 14 games and have scored 44 goals over their last eight.

Honorable Mention: Matt Puempel scored in his first game since Dec. 31 and Henrik Lundqvist stopped 36 shots as the New York Rangers beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-2. Brandon Pirri and Mats Zuccarello added the other goals for the Rangers … Rickard Rakell hit the 20-goal mark and Jonathan Bernier made 31 stops as the Anaheim Ducks edged the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 to earn head coach Randy Carlyle his 300th career win with the franchise … Tobias Rieder needed just 48 seconds to score the overtime winner*as the Arizona Coyotes beat the Florida Panthers 3-2. Christian Fischer and Ryan White scored 12 seconds apart early in the second period, with Fischer netting his second career goal in his second NHL game.
