The two ice girls on the left absolutely destroyed the verisimilitude of this photo.
No. 1 Star: Brent Burns, San Jose Sharks
Burns registered his first career hat trick Friday in a 6-3 blowout of the St. Louis Blues, scoring twice during the Sharks' four-goal first period, then adding a goal and an assist in the third.

Logan Couture and Joe Thornton each had 3-point nights as well in another dominant Sharks' performance.
No. 2 Star: Darren Helm, Detroit Red Wings
Helm was beastly in the Wings' 5-0 shellacking of the New York Islanders, scoring twice. His finest moment was probably the shorthanded goal that basically set off a bomb in the offensive zone. Daniel Alfredsson added 3 points and Jimmy Howard picked up the shutout.

No. 3 Star: Marc-Andre Fleury, Pittsburgh Penguins
Fleury wasn't overly busy, facing 21 shots, but he stopped them all for the shutout in a 3-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was overshadowed somewhat by Sidney Crosby, which is to be expected -- Crosby registered assists on all three Pittsburgh goals, the second of which was his 700th career point.

Honorable mention: Ryan Johansen scored the game's opening goal and assisted on the winner as the Columbus Blue Jackets doubled up on the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2… J.S. Giguere moved to 6-0 on the season, a franchise-record start, in the Colorado Avalanche's 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild… Mikhail Grabovski had a goal, an assist, and the shootout winner as the Washington Capitals edged the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2… Zdeno Chara was a force to be reckoned with in the Boston Bruins' 3-2 win over the New York Rangers. He registered a Gordie Howe hat trick in the game, tooling Brian Boyle, assistant on Brad Marchand's opening goal, and scoring the game-winner. Rick Nash scored for New York, and it was pretty spiffy:

Christian Ehrhoff scored the overtime winner as the Buffalo Sabres notched their sixth win of the season, a 3-2 triumph over the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs… Dustin Penner and Ryan Getzlaf had two goals apiece as the Anaheim Ducks handled the Calgary Flames, 5-2… Sean Couturier and Scott Hartnell both scored unassisted goals as the Philadelphia Flyers topped the Winnipeg Jets, 2-1… Jaromir Jagr scored the 692nd goal of his career, tying him for eighth all-time with Steve Yzerman, in the new Jersey Devils' 5-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. He added two assists as well, because he's awesome… Corey Crawford picked up his 100th career win in the Chicago Blackhawks' 2-1 shootout victory over the Dallas Stars.
Did You Know? The Maple Leafs' shot on goal at 1:38 of the first period versus Buffalo ended a streak of 26:45 without a shot. It's the longest streak of spotlessness in four years, and maybe longer -- it's a difficult statistic to track.

Dishonorable mention: The Hurricanes led 2-1 going into the third. Then they allowed four unanswered New Jersey goals.
