No. 1 Star: Jonathan Bernier, Toronto Maple Leafs
He rocked a toque, and he stopped 41 shots, as well as two more in the shootout to give the Leafs a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings in yet another incredible, beautiful Winter Classic.
No. 2 Star: Valtteri Filppula, Tampa Bay Lightning
Filppula had a two-point night, scoring the Lightning's first goal and assisting on their last as they topped the Vancouver Canucks, 4-2.
No. 3 Star: Tyler Bozak, Toronto Maple Leafs
Bozak scored twice versus the Red Wings. Once in the game, and again in the shootout to ice it. Here's the shootout winner from that cool overhead cam:
