No. 1 Star: Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins
Malkin scored his fifth of the playoffs and assisted on another as the Penguins doubled up the New York Rangers 4-2 to take a 3-1 series lead. The Penguins needed only 151 seconds to open the scoring, with Malkin cashing in on a spinning backhand:

No. 2 Star: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins captain assisted on Malkin's early goal and later helped set up Pittsburgh's final tally from Chris Kunitz for a two-point night. Crosby was also 10-for-15 on draws.
No. 3 Star: Jussi Jokinen, Pittsburgh Penguins
Jokinen extended his points streak to eight games with a third period goal that gave the Penguins a 3-1 lead at the time. He has points in all but one of Pittsburgh's 10 playoff games this postseason. Jokinen also has goals in all three wins this series and is tied with Marian Gaborik for the NHL lead with six.

Honorable mention: Marc-Andre Fleury needed to make only 13 saves. Carl Hagelin ended Fleury's shutout streak at 145:30 with a second period tally ... Pittsburgh won 31 of 49 face-offs ... Brandon Sutter's fourth goal of the playoffs came shorthanded after Brian Gibbons left the puck on the doorstep:

Did you know?*Rick Nash leads all NHL players in the playoffs with 45 shots, so he's got that going for him.
Dishonorable mention: The Rangers managed only four shots in the third period and 15 all game ... New York's power play went 0-for-2 and has failed in its last 36 opportunities ... Brooks Orpik was back in the Pittsburgh lineup after sitting out the last five games, but left after the first period with an undisclosed injury and did not return.
