Kris Dunn has been a threat to produce a triple-double in every game this season. He's come close a few times before finally striking gold Tuesday night in a 89-66 victory over Hartford.
Dunn, a preseason All-American, has looked every bit the part in the first month of the season and is the most complete player in the college game at this point. That showed against Hartford when he registered 16 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists for the second triple-double of his career. The first came last season.

Dunn was into it from the beginning Tuesday getting his teammates involved immediately assisting on five of the Friars' first six baskets in the game. He set a school record with 11 of his 14 assists in the first half.
The highlight of the night came early in the second half when he scored on a one-handed put-back jam off of Junior Lomomba's missed jumper. It was the kind of play usually made by a big man in the post cleaning house around the basket, but it demonstrated how Dunn is truly capable of filling nearly every role asked of him.

Sophomore forward Ben Bentil is just one of Dunn's teammates who is benefitting this season from Dunn's playmaking abilitiy. Bentil led the Friars with 21 points. Jalen Lindsey had 15 points off the bench. It wouldn't be a surprise at all to see Dunn put together a few more triple-doubles this season. He might even be capable of the quadruple-double, something he flirted with in a previous game this season.
