Josh Donaldson 2, O.Co Coliseum tarp 0.
The Oakland Athletics third baseman — who deserves to have his name called as the American League's starting third baseman Sunday when All-Star teams are announced — made another stunning catch Saturday night in Oakland's 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Just look at the still image, even the fan reactions are great.
It should have looked familiar too. Donaldson slammed into the tarp beyond the third-base line, extending to make the catch, then bouncing back off the tarp. It was very similar to a catch Donaldson made last year, one of the best defensive plays of the 2013 MLB season.

There's no doubt that the 2013 play is the better of the two. Donaldson flew over the tarp then, lodging himself between the tarp and the coliseum's seats .The image of Donaldson jumping back on top of the tarp, ready to throw the ball has become so iconic in Oakland that it became a bobblehead this season.
If the A's want a follow-up bobblehead for 2015, they might have the right play to inspire it. Of course, Donaldson is so good, there will probably be more options by season's end.
