Calgary Flames goaltender Jonas Hiller left a Wednesday game at the Ottawa Senators after a collision around the net with Ottawa forward Bobby Ryan.
The play came at the 12:20 mark of the third period when Ryan barreled into the Flames netminder after a rush by Ottawa forward Mika Zibanejad, knocking Hiller into the net.*

After the game, Calgary coach Bob Hartley said Hiller sustained a "lower-body" injury. Ryan was given two minutes for goaltender interference. He also left the game after the play but returned.
Hiller stopped 14 of 18 Senators shots on goal. The Senators were up 4-3 at the time of the collision. He was relieved by Joni Ortio.*
Ryan also scored a goal in the game – his first non-empty net score of the season. The Senators won a 5-4 shootout decision.*
