It appears any belief that Jon Bon Jovi is interesting in purchasing the Buffalo Bills might be “Livin’ On A Prayer” after his publicist shot down that story on Monday.
CBS Sports reporter Jason La Canfora reported Bon Jovi was interested in purchasing the Buffalo Bills after owner Ralph Wilson dies. La Canfora suggested Bon Jovi was working behind the scenes to improve his chances of being in contention to buy the Bills.
However, Ken Sunshine, Bon Jovi’s publicist, called La Canfora’s report “preposterous” during an interview with the Associated Press on Monday.
In addition, Sunshine noted, “the Bills are not for sale and adds that Bon Jovi has too much respect for owner Ralph Wilson to consider engaging in discussions for buying the team.”
La Canfora’s story was unsourced, and unless one of his contacts is willing to speak on-the-record, he is all alone right now.

For the time being, Bon Jovi’s “ownership” tour has been canceled.
