A number of NHL players were in New York City on Monday for the league’s annual media tour. Some did on-ice shoots for the league’s television partners, while others were holed up in the NHL's office doing interviews with a number of outlets, including those schmoes from Yahoo.*
When New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist finished his media tour duties, he headed for the Ed Sullivan Theater to be a guest on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” The two talked about how Lundqvist started playing in net, what it takes to be a goaltender and the Los Angeles Kings.

With all the discussion about playing goal, we would have loved to have seen Letterman set up in an actual net and take pucks from Biff Henderson while Lundqvist offered tips. At least if the stopping pucks part didn't go so well, Dave could tried again to further goad Hank into trash talking those goony Kings.
