Eddie Lacy, the running back who makes up one of the highest-profile offensive attacks in the NFL, left Sunday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks with a right ankle injury.
He was initially listed as questionable to return, and shortly after the second half was declared out for the game, which the Packers won, 27-17.
Initial reports indicated that Lacy had his ankle taped all over, but was unable to continue despite the extra tape support.*
Lacy rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries in Green Bay's opening-week victory against Chicago. He had amassed only 9 yards in the first quarter Sunday.
Down Jordy Nelson, the Packers can ill afford to have another key offensive component out for any length of time.
ESPN's Adam Schefter offered up the following prognosis late in the game:
X-rays on Packers' RB Eddie Lacy's ankle were negative, per source. No firm time line yet on how much time Lacy could miss.

Lacy was one of three Packers carted off the field in the first half. Wide receiver DeVante Adams and defensive tackle Josh Boyd were also taken back to the locker room. Boyd was declared out immediately; Adams returned later in the game.
