In what they hope isn't a sign of things to come during the 2014 season, the Arizona Diamondbacks were forced to find other means of transportation — their own feet — after the team's bus suffered a flat rear tire en route to the famed Sydney Cricket Ground for their season opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Television play-by-play man Steve Berthiaume posted a photo of the damage on Twitter.

A half-mile walk isn't a huge deal, but it's not exactly convenient just hours before your first game of the season.
Not to mention they had to get their nice clothes all sweaty.

The good news is it appears everyone made it to the stadium without incident and with plenty of hours to spare.
On the flip side, it appears the Dodgers had no such travel troubles and were able to conserve some energy.

The regular season opener is scheduled for 4:00 a.m. ET on Saturday morning.
