The NFL sent a memo to teams to knock it off with the fighting. And then the St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys had a brawl at a joint practice.
This was a pretty good one. It wasn't just one player shoving a bit with another player before they got broken up. Guys from both sides were getting after it, and it went on for a while.

Get them in the octagon. You can see Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley, No. 30, getting involved at the six-second mark of the video and getting wrestled to the ground. The Rams must have loved that for their first-round pick, who is coming off ACL surgery.
The player who might have taken the worst of it is Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant. Earlier in camp Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was excited to see Bryant scrapping with a teammate, but he might not have been so happy to see his star receiver get popped in the face by Rams cornerback Imoan Claiborne.

Gotta keep your helmet on, Dez.
Apparently during the fracas, Bryant's diamond earring came out. A security guard found it and returned it, for which Bryant was appreciative.

The NFL wants to stop with all the fights that have popped up here and there, which is unfortunate because they're really entertaining.
This takedown of Tre Mason by Randy Gregory is what started the brawl. Thx sharpie2626 pic.twitter.com/mKO2pbtW6F
