Sacramento Kings forward Derrick Williams made his reputation as a prospect at Arizona during the 2011 NCAA Tournament, dunking all over Duke and other schools on his way to being selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the second overall-pick in that June's draft. Williams hasn't been incredibly successful as a pro, but every so often he comes up with a highlight that reminds everyone of when he burst onto the national scene. It's fitting, then, that arguably his best dunk ever came on the second night of this season's Big Dance.

With under a minute remaining in the third quarter of Friday night's game between the Kings and Charlotte Hornets at Sleep Train Arena, Williams took a pass from Andre MIller and detonated on the defending Bismack Biyombo for one of the most vicious slams of the NBA season so far. Check it out here:

Williams finished with 13 points on 3-of-8 shooting as the Kings won 101-91 despite playing without All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins. The loss dropped the Hornets to 29-38 and a half-game (or one win) behind the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers in the race for the East's last playoff spot.

The Kings remain at the 13th seed in the West, although the NBA does not allow those teams to play in the postseason. I guess it's not quite the same for Williams as it was when he was at Arizona.
