Perhaps already the most interesting man in baseball, Detroit Tigers pitcher Daniel Norris added to his legend Tuesday.
Set to start against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field, Norris took part in batting practice and apparently he can swing the bat pretty good too. Hitting from the left side, the 22-year-old sent a ball screaming down the right field line, smashing a few panels near the bottom of one of Wrigley's brand-new video boards.
So Daniel Norris just broke one of the Cubs new scoreboards during batting practice. pic.twitter.com/3VcfEby6zk

That's what the kids call, flexin' on 'em.
Norris was the prized return in the trade that sent David Price to the Toronto Blue Jays and gained notoriety in the offseason for living out of his*Volkswagen van for parts of the winter.*
Wednesday will be Norris' fourth start with the Tigers, but his first career start in a National League park. How will he fare in his first big-league plate appearance against tough left-hander Jon Lester?
Considering the mark he left on the Wrigley video board, it's not out of the question that he'll be able to do some damage with the bat.
