Canada won gold at the IIHF world championships on Sunday, exposing the Russian defense in a 6-1 victory.*
And speaking of exposing … Claude Giroux, ladies and gentlemen!
The Philadelphia Flyers star was accidentally featured in the background of an Instagram shot from teammate Tyler Seguin of the Dallas Stars, which has since been deleted.
Giroux's placement of the beer can and towel are on an Austin Powers-level of tasteful obstruction. (We added a little more coverage, just in case.)
The Team Canada win produced impressive amounts of Bro-Mance, including undeniable chemistry on the ice between Giroux and rival Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Not to be outdone, Crosby had this moment with Seguin, as they two engaged in some kind of Canadian Gold Medal Communion ritual on the ice after the game.
Now that’s leadership.*
