"I'm coming! Be ready!"
That's not a real quote, but that's only because Harper did his talking with his bat on Saturday night. In his third and final rehab game after tearing the ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb on April 25 and undergoing surgery, Harper connected for three home runs for the Double-A Harrisburg Senators.

Not impressed by the level of competition? Consider this: At 21, Harper was the youngest player on the Harrisburg roster during his short stint there. Pretty amazing for a guy who's already appeared in 279 MLB games.
Here's another impressive tidbit.
The Akron ballpark is a graveyard, and Bryce Harper just hit a ball off the scoreboard. Might want to be at Nats Park on Monday.

Harper also had a big game on Friday with Harrisburg. On that night, he went 1 for 2 with a single, two walks, two RBI and two stolen bases while leading them to a 4-3 win. He started in center field and played all nine innings. In that same game, his brother, Bryan Harper, who's a pitcher for Harrisburg, tossed a hitless eighth inning as both of their parents watched on from the stands.*
A cool moment, but now it's time for Harper to return to the Nationals. He's expected to do just that when they return home Monday for Bryce Harper Bobblehead Night. Talk about perfect timing.
In all honesty, he was probably ready to go offensively when he returned to the batting cage on June 20. Now, there are absolutely no doubts.
Beware, National League.
