Singing a song in a different language can be difficult, but that didn't stop Bayern Munich from having the whole team attempt to sing "Jingle Bells" in English. It starts off with the players singing the famous chorus loud and clear while clapping along. But when the first verse comes along, the clapping stops and a number of guys are quickly lost.
Some move their mouths to appear as if they know what they're singing while others just stop, but when they get back to the "jingle bells..." they all come back in, clapping and smiling. And then comes the confusion again with the next verse.
Philipp Lahm proves that he's the smartest man on the team by wearing a Santa beard that conveniently obscures his mouth, while his teammates can't hide their enunciation issues.
It was definitely a noble effort, though (with commercial motive$). Their "Jingle Bells" is still much better than my "O Tannenbaum."
