The government could be messing with college football Saturday.
Air Force and Navy are scheduled to meet in Annapolis, but that game could be in jeopardy because of Monday’s government shutdown. Army is scheduled to play at Boston College.
On Monday, Navy announced the Department of Defense was canceling all athletic contests at Service Academies and that a decision about whether to play Saturday's contest between Air Force and Navy would be made by noon Thursday.
Tuesday morning Air Force canceled its press conference with coach Troy Calhoun and several players citing the government shutdown. Navy’s media services were scheduled as normal.

Air Force sports information crew has been shut down. They'll leave in about an hour. This is getting crazy.
