Some Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks might spend their off days at Miami Beach, as Tom Brady has with Gisele Bundchen (can you blame him?), but not Aaron Rodgers.
Or perhaps the MVP quarterback was researching schemes when he and Green Bay Packers teammate Mason Croby attended a Wisconsin middle school game between Luxemburg-Casco and Howard-Suamico on Tuesday, according to the Door County Daily News (h/t Big Lead).
In reality, one of the Howard-Suamico players is reportedly Rodgers' next door neighbor, so he and the Packers kicker came to show their support.
That takes nothing away from Rodgers' gesture. It's pretty cool for a guy with 21,944 yards and 174 touchdowns under his NFL belt to take time out from, well, taking time out to go watch his young neighbor play football.
Speaking of belts, no word on whether anybody pulled off the Discount Double Check in the game.
And I'm sure the kid has told his friends a million times that he lives next to Rodgers but nobody believed him. Somebody owns Howard-Suamico Middle School today.
