About 4 months ago my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 just randomly turned off. I had charged it overnight and about 7am one morning I was getting ready for school and took my phone off charge. It had about 3/4 battery. (only started charging it early in the morning). Anyway I took it off charge and set it down. When I was ready to head out the door about half an hour later, I found that it had turned off. So I turned it on and the low battery symbol appeared for a second and then turned off again. So it had died... I found this strange seeing as it was 3/4 one minute and dead the next. I couldn't do anything at the moment because I had to go to school. So I just left my phone home for the day.

When I got home I had tried charging it and a red light appeared on the phone. I turned it on once it had charged for a few hours but It wouldn't turn on and the red light flashed a few times and that was it. Nothing after that I thought the battery was dead so I ordered a new one about two weeks later.

So charged the phone with the new battery inside of it and same thing happened. Flashing red light and wouldn't turn on. And that was back in September....

So to any phone experts, techies or anyone who has owned this phone in the past or now. What does this mean!? I have gotten a iphone 4 from my sister now but I would like to try to fix my phone. It has never been dropped and it has never gotten any water damage so I don't know what the problem would be. The phone is not that old as well. I got it brand new on the 9th September 2010.

Please Help! Don't answer if you don't know!

Thanks!
I have just tried charging it for about half an hour and nothing has happened. No flashing red light and it wont turn on. But what would the problem be? What did the flashing red light indicate?
