Ok, I am buying a new mobile phone and there a couple of thing I would like to know about the Sony Ericsson W880i. Firstly, does it have bluetooth? Secondly, is it good for pictures and music? Thirdly, How old is it? And finally, if you have one how would you review it, thanks.
Oh just found another Sony Ericsson phone. Is the Sony Ericsson W580i and better? Thanks

I've gone through two w580i's.
Maybe it's just a coincidence i broke both of them within six months. Good pictures, good music player (although you need to have a memory card to get your music onto it) blahblahblah.
no extreme flaws.

I don't know anything about the w880i, though.

W880i does have bluetooth. The music player is okay, i don't use it much though. The camera is 2mega pixels but doesn't have a zoom option.
I've had my w880i for about 10 months, i really like it because it's good for going on the internet and easy to use.

The sony ericsson w580i is slightly newer, the w880i came out probably easter 07, the w580 came out about christmas 07. So no the w880 is not new.

The camera is both is pretty basic and standard, if you want it for photography it is not the phone for you. They are both pretty much identical in specification except the w880i comes with a slightly larger memory card (1gb, the w580 comes with a 512mb) A 1gb card will hold approximately 250 songs.

It does have bluetooth indeed. For music it is good and comes with sony walkman headphones, good sound quality and comfort. Any ericsson phone with a W at the begninning in a walkman phone and has this feature and a decent memory, but generally not a great camera. The upgrade of this phone is the W890i, worth checking out. A good website is www.gsmarena.com, you can compare specification on there.

Main problem with the w880 is it is so thin the battery easily looses connection when u drop it or tap it on the table. The w580i doesnt have too many problems except sometimes the keyboards crack but this is a manufacturers fault and will be fixed for free.
