sony ericsson software problem?

hi. i have an unlocked sony ericsson w350i and it asked me to update the software today so i did.. but now my orange sim card wont recognize. i have an error message: insert correct sim or something.. is there a way i can install an older version of the software as it seems to be the new software thats the problem?
