Sony Ericsson P990i - Operating System.?
Is it possible to install an alternative operating system for this phone ?

Links to free 'open source' alternatives would be welcome.
Would it be better to ask the above questions in the computer section ?

No, it's imposible. Because its hardware doesn't supported.
But it can be upgraded to the higher version of old its OS. ..
