sony ericsson dropped in glass of water?

okay so on saturday night i dropped my phone in a glass of water on accident and i immedietly took it out and took the battery out of the phone. My friends told me to put them in the freezer so i did. I took them out of the freezer after a couple of hours and let it dry. The next day i placed it in the sun to dry outside. Now though whenever i put the battery in all it does is buzz. It doesn't turn on. It just vibrates. Is my phone screwed or can it be saved?

you shouldnt have put it in the freezer. what works is if you leave it in a bag of rice over night. trust me. your phone is probably screwed, but you might want to try the rice thing anyway. i hope that helped! =)

I dont think you should have put it in the freezer.

Whenever your phone is dropped into water, it is always best to put it in a container of rice.

the rice soaks up all of the water. Leaving the phone perfectly fine. (in most cases)

It is best if your phone is left in the rice for about 2-3 days.

screwed----you are not supposed to put in the freezer, you are supposed to put it in a bag of rice, the rice soaks out all the water. If you have no rice avavilable you use a dry towel to completely dry it off

I dropped mine in toilet and took out the battery and since I was n bathroom I used a dry towel to dry off battery then keyboard...nothing wrong with battery but the R on the keyboard instead of being and R it turns into a .q and the g turns into an ! but if I dont use the full keyboard for those letters and it works fine...kind of a pain though

MM the true it seem to be screwed but you don't lose anything trying to fix it maybe take all apart and leave it on sunlight (the cellphone screen looking down)
i hope the best for you phone but when the water gets to your cables it make a cut circuit or whatever its spelled and it wont work.

i dropped my phone in the water last week. when i tried to get it to work, it told me to insert the sim card and it was flashing and beeping. i went to get a new phone, and when i bought the phone, the person helping me told me to take apart my phone and leave it in a container buried in rice for a few days. it sounds rediculous and i thought she was nuts, but i tried it. i left it in for 5 days and then tried it. and it worked!!!! i was so happy. you could try that.
hope i helped!
