How Can I Watch YouTube Mobile Videos on My Sony Ericsson w580i?

I know it has to be possible cuz my friend also had the same phone and he was able to watch YouTube Videos on his phone. I don't have a computer at the moment so it's my only way to watch videos. Every time I try to watch it, it starts to connect and it tries but ultimately fails. Is there a mobile program or something I can download onto my phone to allow me to watch or download YouTube videos so I can watch them on my phone? There is a few videos I really need to watch.
