i bought a Sony walkman a week ago and just installed the latest version of sonicstage. But when i plug the walkman in to the computer it says i have to delete all the music currently on the walkman because the other music was put on the walkman using a earlier version of sonicstage. is there a way of connecting it to the computer without formatting the walkman.

You know I remember when all you had to do with a Walkman was stick a tape in and press 'play'.

I don't believe so, isn't the music on your computer, so that once your format the device, your music will be transfer back onto it. I would assume it would work just the same as the ipod does.
