I'm looking to buy a thinkpad t410 and the place i'm ordering it from said that if i buy a 500gb hard drive at 7200 rpm, it will make my machine run slower than a 320gb one also at 7200 rpm. The rest of the comp is going to be an i7 or i5 processor with 4gb ram. Any thoughts on their assessment? Thanks.
