Wireless Mouse Problems?

I have a wireless mouse and keyboard. It works but it keeps saying the signal is low and it often loses the signal and I have to press the connect button. I tried moving the entenna and the mouse but neither works. I tried replacing the nbatteries also but that dosen't work either. Them mouse and the keyboard ae just like 2 feet away from the entenna(I mesured). It has a 3 foot limit. What could be wrong?
