Simple computer gaming question...?
Ok, so basically I have a sorta dumb question that I need an answer to. I like to play battlefield 2142, and when I play single player, I can max out all the settings so it looks great. However, when I play online if I try to max out all the settings the game will slow down considerably, but If I lower the settings, the game plays great online. My question is: is this slowdown online due to my graphics card or my internet connection? It would seem to be as though my graphics card works great on SP but not during MP, but that doesnt make any sense.
Forgetting about internet speed, if you have a good graphics card, and you decide to play online games, they should look good no matter what, right? Any lag would be due to internet speed and NOT due to the GPU. Is this correct?
