RAY-8128 or anyone that can help. Computer trouble - need advice please?
Ever since I restored my computer, my scrolling, text and general functionality have been slow and jerky. When I scroll on a page, it hangs for a couple seconds and then jumps to the location of my cursor. The same thing happens when I type. I'll be typing a sentence and all of a sudden the text will just freeze and if I keep typing, the rest of my sentence will appear in a couple seconds. My hard drive is 80 GB in which most of the space is free due to my recent restore, 1.5GHz processing speed and 480 MB of RAM. I've increased my virtual memory several times, got rid of some useless programs and even altered MSCONFIG slightly, getting rid of some programs I don't need at startup. Please, is there anything left I can do to fix this?
