New Compaq Laptop Won't Hold Wireless Connection?
I bought a new Compaq laptop a few days ago (Black Friday special). Over the last day or two the wireless connection has been really flaky on it. We have 2 other desktop computers in the house (hard wired to the wireless router) and they never lose their Internet connection.
When I hard wire the Compaq laptop to the wireless router it works fine - all the time. When I go wireless with it... it's horribly unreliable - even when right beside the wireless router.
What is wrong here? Do I need to take my Compaq back and demand a new wireless card? Or is it a router issue? I'm so frustrated.
