Everytime I load Internet Explorer, it prompts me to download internet explorer 7?

I am running Internet Explorer 8 (Beta) as I thought this would solve the problem.

Each time I boot up Internet explorer, I am presented with the following page:

http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/internet-explorer/download-ie.aspx

which asks me to download, even though I am running IE8. It also did the same when I was running IE7.

Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can resolve this?

go back to IE7 if it bothers you so much.

You just have your homepage set to that URL.

Visit a different page then drag the icon from the left hand side of the address bar on top of your Home button, or change the preference in Tools > Internet Options.

i dont know, download IE7 and then download IE8 again? might take a while but might work?
