Error 1706: No valid source code be found for product adobe acrobat 8 professional.?

windows cannot continue with the installation....pls. help...I tried to delete Acrobat Professional 8....but it cannot be deleted....what shall I do?

I am geting the same mage. I tried to remove it manually and remove all reg.key, and folder and even a untinstall program and nothing.. wht's the deal?
