When I attempt to turn on my Presario CQ61 Notebook all that happens is the power light flashes 3 times.HELP !!!
It was left on overnight with charger plugged in whilst doing a download, in the morning it had turned itself off and the above problem occured.
Doing quick research it seems as if it might be your charger cord itself or the battery.
Remove the battery and charge cord
Press power for 30 seconds
replace power cord and battery
If that does not solve your issue your power cord may be to blame for this issue!
